Exams

We provide routine and extended wellness exams for both canine and feline patients. A thorough exam is performed on all patients before receiving vaccinations. We also offer senior pet wellness exams that include complete laboratory services. Other exam services include tonometry, microchip implantation, health certificates, nail trims, and anal gland expression.

Pharmacy

We have an extensive in-house pharmacy for patients that require medications or prescription food. If your pet needs a medication we don’t keep in stock; we can call it in to a local pharmacy, give you a written prescription, or you can order from our pharmacy website (see link below). We can fill prescriptions from another veterinarian with proper documentation (i.e.: emailed, written, or called-in prescription from prescribing veterinarian). Please click here to sign up for our on-line pharmacy. or click the Pharmacy tab above.

Laboratory

We have state-of-the-art laboratory machines for running blood work, fecal and urine analysis, radiographs, and microscopic exams of samples. These machines allow for quick turnaround time on results so we can begin treatment immediately. We also have relationships with reference laboratories for diagnostics that require more extensive testing.

Surgery

We provide various surgical services including routine spaying/neutering as well as soft tissue and abdominal surgery. If complicated or advanced orthopedic surgery is necessary, we will schedule a board-certified surgeon to perform the surgery at our clinic. We use advanced monitoring equipment including EKG, blood pressure, oxygen/CO2 saturation, and respiration rate during your pet’s procedure. Pharmacological pain control is always provided during surgical procedures for the comfort of your pet. Our surgical suite contains an AccuVet CO2 surgical laser unit that we use for all canine spays/neuters, and for other surgeries where bleeding is a concern. Dental Cleaning

Dental cleanings are performed under full anesthesia and the teeth are cleaned using an ultrasonic scaler. Once the teeth are cleaned, we can either polish them or apply sealant. Antibiotics are required before and after dental cleanings to reduce the risk of bacteria contaminating the bloodstream. Pharmacological pain medication is given and/or dispensed if we deem extractions necessary.

Laser Therapy

We have a Companion Animal Health 15-watt laser unit that is used to treat acute and chronic conditions. All orthopedic surgeries done at our clinic receive post-operative laser sessions to aid in recovery. The laser can be used to treat a variety of medical conditions where drugs or surgery are not options for the patient. Some conditions that respond to laser therapy are: back pain, wounds, osteoarthritis, disc and joint diseases, post-surgical pain, lick granulomas, dermatologic skin conditions, and many others.
